PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania corporation is suing New York-based Soft-Tex International Inc., d/b/a Soft-Tex Manufacturing Co., citing alleged breach of contract.
QVC Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Soft-Tex International Inc., d/b/a Soft-Tex Manufacturing Co., alleging that the New York corporation refused to provide a refund to the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, QVC Inc., a television and internet electronic retailer, sustained monetary damages due to the defendant's actions. The plaintiff holds the defendant, a pillow maker, responsible because the defendant allegedly breached its contractual obligation by refusing to remit refund amounts requested by the plaintiff.
The plaintiff seeks financial restitution, court costs, interest and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Amy S. Kline and Nathaniel Metz of Saul Ewing LLP in Wayne.
