PHILADELPHIA — A woman is suing TransUnion LLC, Equifax Information Services LLC and Experian Information Solutions Inc., alleging negligent misrepresentation by credit reporting agencies.

Latisha Jackson filed a complaint on Oct. 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they reported false information regarding her credit history to third parties.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she sustained damages to her credit score including the loss of credit opportunities. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly continued to report derogatory and inaccurate statements regarding her credit history despite her dispute.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Mark D. Mailman and Geoffrey H. Baskerville of Francis & Mailman, P.C. in Philadelphia.
