PHILADELPHIA — A married couple's lawsuit against Zimmer Orthopaedic Surgical Products Inc., cites alleged design defect, negligence and product liability in connection with a knee implant.
Carl Weidenhof and Dena Weidenhof filed a complaint on April 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they manufactured a defective knee implant.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that Carl Weidenhof suffered injuries due to the implantation of a defective knee device. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly allowed
to be implanted with a defective product.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek compensatory damages, punitive or exemplary damages, statutory damages, court cost and interest and any further relief the court grants.
They are represented by Tobias L. Millrood and Bharati O. Sharma of Pogust Braslow & Millrood, LLC in Conshohocken and David H. Rosenberg, Gregory M. Feather and Matthew P. Rosenberg of Handler, Henning & Rosenberg, LLP in Harrisburg.
