First National Bank of Pennsylvania claims man owes for mortgage

PITTSBURGH — A financial institution is suing Michael Walther, an individual, citing alleged breach of contract and unpaid debt.

First National Bank of Pennsylvania, successor to Parkvale Savings Bank, filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Walther, alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered monetary damages because of the defendant. The plaintiff holds Walther responsible because he allegedly failed to pay the principal amount plus interest and late charges on his mortgage.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $29,597.59 plus interest at the rate of $2.73 per diem and late charges from Sept. 14 plus court costs. It is represented by Kristine M. Anthou of Grenen & Birsic, P.C. in Pittsburgh.
