Wyndham Hotel Management accused of breaching collective bargaining agreement

PITTSBURGH — A labor group is suing Wyndham Hotel Management Inc., as agent for Pittsburgh Grand Hotel LLC, alleging breach of contract.

Keystone Mountain Lakes Regional Council of Carpenters filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against the defendant, alleging that the employer breached its collective bargaining agreement with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages due to the violation of the collective bargaining agreement. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly refusing to arbitrate the grievance.

The plaintiff seeks an order for the defendant to arbitrate the grievance, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Marianne Oliver of Gilardi, Oliver & Lomupo in Pittsburgh.
