Fannie Mae seeks mortgage payment from estate executrix

PITTSBURGH — A mortgage association is suing Diana M. Harris, executrix of the estate of Elaine M. Moore, alleging breach of contract and unpaid debt.

Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) filed a complaint on Oct. 13 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Harris, alleging that the representative failed to pay a mortgage to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages due to a defaulted mortgage. The plaintiff holds Harris responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the principal balance plus interest of a mortgage.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $95,537.07 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Terrence J. McCabe of McCabe, Weisberg & Conway, P.C. in Philadelphia.
