PITTSBURGH — A Pennsylvania business is suing Multimatic Mechanisms, a Canadian company, alleging breach of contract.
SMC Powder Metallurgy Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 31 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Multimatic Mechanisms alleging that the Canada business failed to pay the full amount under a contract for gears that the plaintiff manufactured.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that SMC Powder Metallurgy Inc. suffered monetary damages. The plaintiff holds Multimatic Mechanisms responsible because the defendant allegedly breached a contractual agreement with the plaintiff by refusing to pay in full.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $35,000, plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Scott R. Leah of Tucker Arensberg, P.C. in Pittsburgh.
