PITTSBURGH – An Allegheny County man alleges an Oregon company that sells medical alert devices unlawfully called him for advertising purposes.
Mark B. Aronson filed a complaint on Oct. 31 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Responsenow Inc. citing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant called him on Oct. 27 to solicit its services. The plaintiff holds Responsenow Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly used an automatic telephone dialing system to call the plaintiff for unsolicited advertising.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $6,000 plus court costs. He is representing himself.
