PHILADELPHIA – A Lafayette Hill company is accused of owing millions to a North Carolina business.
UPM Raflatac Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against National Label Co. alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it supplied self-adhesive labels to the defendant from October 2015 to November. The plaintiff holds National Label Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the invoices sent by the plaintiff.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $4,370,672.94 plus interest at the rate of 6 percent per annum plus any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Christopher D. Loizides of Loizides PA in Wilmington, Delaware.
