South Carolina company WM Cook Construction accused of not paying for goods

PITTSBURGH — A Pennsylvania business is suing South Carolina company WM Cook Construction Co. and personal guarantor Will Cook, alleging breach of contract.

84 Lumber Company L.P. filed a complaint on Nov. 18 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered monetary damages to its business. The plaintiff holds WM Cook Construction Co. and Will Cook responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their agreement with the plaintiff by failing to pay them for goods and supplies.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $49,736.88 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by S. Manoj Jegasothy and William E. Blick of Gordon & Rees, LLP in Pittsburgh.
