Jack Frost Big Boulder Ski Resort accused of liability in alleged fall

Slip02

HARRISBURG – A man is suing Jack Frost Big Boulder Ski Resort and JFBB Ski Areas Inc., alleging negligence, liability and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

Paul Dunn filed a complaint on Jan. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they failed to make sure that the lobby of their resort was free of any objects that could trip the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 30, 2015, he sustained physical injuries including a fracture of his right forearm when he tripped over a small fan/blower. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly allowed the hazardous condition and failed to provide warning of it.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants for compensatory damages. He is represented by R. Tyler Tomlinson of Stark & Stark, P.C. in Yardley.
