HARRISBURG — A woman is suing Full Performance Marine Inc., a James Creek boat dealership, alleging negligence in connection with injuries suffered in a fall.

Casey Schubert filed a complaint on Jan. 9, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Full Performance Marine, Inc., alleging that the Pennsylvania business failed to make sure that the ladder was properly secured before allowing the plaintiff to use it.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered serious physical injuries including a fractured left lateral malleolus and right proximal tibia. The plaintiff holds Full Performance Marine, Inc., responsible because the defendant allegedly used an unsafe ladder in order for the plaintiff to view the houseboat.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $75,000. She is represented by Daryl E. Christopher of Schmidt Kramer PC in Harrisburg.
