PITTSBURGH — A man is suing Reliance Standard Life Insurance, alleging breach of contract.

Lawrence Faunce filed a complaint on Jan. 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Reliance Standard Life Insurance, alleging that the insurance company denied his claim for disability benefits.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered a post-traumatic stress disorder after an on-site accident which an employee was killed, rendering him mentally disabled, and applied for disability benefits that were denied.
