PHILADELPHIA — A man is suing CTS Cement Manufacturing Corporation, CTS Bulk Terminals Company and Pennsylvania Cement Terminal LLC, alleging negligence in connection with a fall.
Carlos Wong filed a complaint on Jan. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they failed to remove the snow and/or ice on their premises.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 5, 2015, he sustained physical injuries when he slipped and fell. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly allowed snow and/or ice to remain on their premises and failed to provide proper warning regarding the slippery surface.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds $150,000 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by John N. Zervanos of Soloff & Zervanos, P.C. in Philadelphia.
