R&R Contracting accused of poor roofing work

PITTSBURGH — An insurance company is suing R&R Contracting, a Pennsylvania company, citing alleged breach of contract and negligence.

Erie Insurance Exchange a/s/o Peter M. Wagner and Teresa Wagner filed a complaint on Dec. 2 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against R&R Contracting, alleging that the Pennsylvania company failed to properly perform roofing work on the property of the Wagners.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that Erie Insurance Exchange a/s/o Peter M. Wagner and Teresa Wagner suffered damages due to poorly performed work. The plaintiffs holds R&R Contracting responsible because the defendant allegedly did not remove the old shingles to install new ones and generally failed to perform their work in a workmanlike manner.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant in the amount of $37,591.84 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Jesse M. Cohen of Sacks Weston Diamond, LLC in Philadelphia.
