Corry Metal Furniture seeks payment from Michigan company

ERIE — A Corry furniture company is suing a Michigan firm citing alleged breach of contract.

Corry Metal Furniture Inc. filed a complaint on Jan. 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Vanerum Stelter LLC, alleging that the Michigan company failed to pay for furniture it provided.

According to the complaint, Corry Metal Furniture says that it suffered financial damages and holds Vanerum Stelter responsible. The complaint states that Vanerum Stelter failed to pay the invoices sent by the plaintiff. The last partial payment Corry Metal Furniture received was in approximately June 2016.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $376,115.57 plus interest and court costs. Corry Metal Furniture is represented by Michael P. Kruszewski of the Quinn Law Firm in Erie.
