Woman alleges Wells Fargo continued to call after she asked it to stop

PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia resident claims a financial institution placed hundreds of calls and texts to her phone without her consent.

Adrian Guilford filed a complaint on Jan. 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Wells Fargo Bank N.A. citing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she sustained damages from being called on her cellular telephone by the defendant in an attempt to collect a debt. The plaintiff holds Wells Fargo Bank N.A. responsible because the defendant allegedly placed repeated calls to the plaintiff's cellphone using an autodialer and allegedly continued to call her after she revoked her consent.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for statutory damages and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Cary L. Flitter and Andrew M. Milz of Flitter Milz P.C. in Narberth.
