PHILADELPHIA — A Florida company is suing three former employees, alleging breach of contract.
Ascendo Resources LLC of Coral Gables, Florida, filed a complaint Jan. 30 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against John Dougherty, Remy Agins, and Richard Kahl, alleging they misappropriated and used trade secrets taken from the plaintiff during their employment in Ascendo's Philadelphia office.
According to the complaint, Ascendo Resources, a staffing firm, sustained financial damages because the defendants accepted work for the plaintiff's direct competitor and started to solicit Ascendo's clients even though they were informed to honor their post-employment obligations to the plaintiff.
Ascendo Resources seeks damages, disgorgement, interest, court costs and all further relief the court grants. They are represented by attorneys Frederick P. Santarelli, Brian J. Grady and Thomas J. Elliott of Elliott Greenleaf, P.C. in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
