PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia photographer is suing Anheuser Busch, alleging copyright infringement.

R. Bradley Maule filed a complaint Feb. 1 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Anheuser Busch InBev SA and Anheuser Busch Companies, alleging the defendant used Maule's projected skyline photograph for its advertisements.

According to the complaint, Maule sustained financial damages from having his photographs used without any license. The plaintiff alleges the defendant copied and used Maule's photographs for its advertisements, which it then distributed to the public.

Maule seeks trial by jury, judgment of more than $1 million for all damages, profits, punitive and treble damages and court costs. He is represented by attorney J. Conor Corcoran of the Law Office of J. Conor Corcoran PC in Philadelphia.
