PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh woman is suing insurance companies, alleging breach of contract.

Susan G. Farber, as executor of the estate of Zola H. Gold and persons entitled to assets of the estate of Zola H. Gold, Rise Insurance Agency, Inc., and Steffi B. Gold filed a lawsuit Feb. 16 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation, Gerald Silver and Capital Coordination Insurance, alleging refusal to pay commissions earned by the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, Farber sustained monetary damages when her commission was not paid to her. The plaintiff alleges the defendants have failed to pay the commission to Farber after the death of Zola H. Gold on Aug. 10, 2015.

Farber seeks trial by jury, judgment of at least $75,000, plus interest, punitive damages, court costs and all further relief the court grants. She is represented by attorneys Lauren D. Rushak and Jerri A. Ryan of Clark Hill PLC in Pittsburgh
