Erie company claims Helen's House of Wisconsin failed to pay monthly residual fees

Contract 05

ERIE, Pa. - An Erie corporation is suing Helen's House LLC and Greg Calmes, Ryan Calmes, Tony Hawley and Jeremy Verkiulen, the four owners of the Wisconsin business, citing alleged breach of contract.

Brookside Homes of America Inc. filed a complaint March 7 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania alleging the defendants failed to pay the plaintiff residual fees of $10,000 per month.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges it sustained financial damages to its company due to the non-payment. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly breached their contractual agreement with the plaintiff by failing to pay the residual fees.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $84,000 plus $10,000 per month for as long as Helen's House remains open, court costs, interest and any further relief the court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Michael J. Musone of Knox McLaughlin Gornall & Sennett PC in Erie.
