PITTSBURGH — An insurance company is suing Danne L. Olivis, citing alleged negligence for a one-car crash in which she drove into a cemetery gate.

PA National Mutual Casualty Insurance Company a/s/o Homewood Cemetery a/k/a Homewood Cemetery Historical Fund a/k/a Allegheny Cemetery filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Olivis alleging that the defendant failed to properly control her vehicle, causing it to collide into the plaintiff's insured iron gate.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, on Jan. 1, 2015, it sustained property damages. The plaintiff holds Olivis responsible because the defendant allegedly recklessly operated her vehicle and was inattentive while driving.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $70,729.85 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Paul J. Hennessy of Hennessy & Hennessy in West Chester.
