PITTSBURGH — A Georgia-based company is suing Harry C. Nagel, a previous employee, citing alleged breach of contract.

Siemens Industry Inc. filed a complaint on April 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Harry C. Nagel alleging that the previous employee took confidential information with him upon his resignation.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it sustained damages due to the misappropriation of its confidential information. The plaintiff holds Nagel responsible because he allegedly admitted that he copied thousands of emails and confidential documents belonging to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks restitution damages, compensatory damages, punitive damages, court costs, interest and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Robert W. Cameron and Allison R. Brown of Littler Mendelson P.C. in Pittsburgh.
