PHILADELPHIA — An individual is suing Eisai Inc., a New Jersey health care research corporation, citing alleged breach of contract, retaliation and wrongful termination for reporting wrongdoing.
Oleksandr Loboda filed a complaint on April 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Eisai alleging that the defendant terminated plaintiff's employment as retaliation for reporting misconduct in research to a senior employee.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff, who worked in quality control at the company, alleges that he was damaged from being terminated from his employment. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible because it allegedly subjected the plaintiff to termination as retaliation for reporting illegal clinical research data tampering that his employer was engaging in.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $806,000 plus interest and court costs. He is represented by Peter George Mylonas of Law Offices of Peter George Mylonas P.C. in Broomall.
