PHILADELPHIA — An early childhood education provider is suing Hina Gondal, Bilal Gondal and BHSG & Co., citing alleged unfair competition.

Goddard Systems Inc., headquartered in King of Prussia, filed a complaint on May 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they breached their franchise agreement with plaintiff after they ceased operating a Goddard School location in Delaware.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it was damaged as the result of the defendants' allegedly starting a derivative day care and education center at the same location. The plaintiff also holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly arranged the hiring of plaintiff's employees to work for their new venture, The Gem School.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks injunction against the defendant, money damages, compensatory damages, lost profits, exemplary damages, punitive damages, treble damages, court costs, interest and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Constantine T. Fournaris and Richard M. Gallucci Jr. of Wiggin and Dana LLP in Philadelphia.
