ERIE — An individual is suing Cheryl J. Sturm, an attorney, for alleged breach of contract.
Loreen Sedlak filed a complaint on April 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant breached their agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was damaged from having an agreement breached to represent her son in a legal matter. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to perform her contractual obligation according to their agreement to timely represent the plaintiff's son in the legal matter.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages in the amount of $22,505, punitive damages of $25,000, court costs and any further relief this court grants.
