PHILADELPHIA — A Langhorne construction company is suing Gary Horwedel and Susan Horwedel, citing alleged breach of contract.

U.S. Pipelining LLC filed a complaint on May 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that Gary Horwedel threatened to reveal confidential and sensitive information belonging to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it sustained damages to its business as the result of Gary Horwedel's actions. The plaintiff holds the Horwedels responsible because Gary Horwedel allegedly breached his contractual agreement with the plaintiff when he demanded a sum of $150,000 from the plaintiff to prevent him from revealing confidential information to litigants against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds $75,000, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by William P. Rubely and Anthony J. Canale of Subranni Zauber LLC in Philadelphia.
