PHILADELPHIA — A former executive is suing Phoenix Services International LLC and Metal Services LLC t/d/b/a Phoenix Services, alleging breach of contract and violation of Workers' Compensation acts.
Stan Ben, of Florida, filed a complaint on May 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they failed to properly compensate the plaintiff upon his retirement according to the terms of his contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was damaged from not being compensated in the amount he was promised during his employment. The plaintiff holds Phoenix Services responsible because it allegedly failed to pay certain compensation and benefits to the plaintiff upon his retirement.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $75,000, interest, all statutory damages, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants.
