PHILADELPHIA — A union is suing C & C Campano HVAC Inc. and Campano Mechanical Services Inc., alleging breach of contract.
Steamfitters Union Local 420 filed a complaint on May 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they failed to remit monthly contributions to the plaintiff on behalf of its employees.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it was damaged due to the unpaid contributions. The plaintiff holds the contractor responsible because it allegedly breached the collective bargaining agreement by failing to make timely payments on behalf of its employees.
The plaintiff seeks judgment for any contributions found due and owing, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by William T. Josem and Jeremy E. Meyer of Cleary, Josem & Trigiani LLP in Philadelphia.
