Former employee of United Cerebral Palsy of Central PA claims wrongful termination

Wrongful term 11

SCRANTON — A former nonprofit employee is suing United Cerebral Palsy of Central PA, alleging violation of Workers' Compensation acts and wrongful termination.

Coty A. Slothour filed a complaint on May 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania alleging that the nonprofit, located in Camp Hill, terminated plaintiff's employment for making a report of sexual harassment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was damaged from being terminated from work. The plaintiff holds United Cerebral Palsy of Central PA responsible because it allegedly retaliated against the plaintiff by terminating his employment for making the allegations.

The plaintiff seeks court costs, interest, payment of all damages, benefits due and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Sara A. Austin of Austin Law Firm LLC in York.
