T&R Battle Creek claims UG Butler failed to cover taxes from real estate deal

Contract 05

PITTSBURGH — An Ohio partnership is suing UG Butler PA LLC, alleging breach of contract for an unpaid sum of money stemming from a real estate transaction.

T&R Battle Creek Limited Partnership filed a complaint on May 22 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania alleging that the defendant company refused to reimburse the plaintiff for costs associated with a real estate purchase in Butler County.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it was damaged from the defendant's refusal to cover the taxes associated with the transaction, per their contract. The plaintiff holds UG Butler responsible because it allegedly breached its agreement with the plaintiff by failing to pay the entire realty tax owed.

The plaintiff seeks reimbursement in the amount of $100,750 plus court costs and interest. It is represented by Kathleen A. Gallagher of Cipriani & Werner P.C. in Pittsburgh.
