Consumer says Acre Mortgage, other company failed to disclose all terms of mortgage

PHILADELPHIA — A woman is suing Acre Mortgage & Financial Inc. and Classic Quality Homes, alleging violation of federal law.

Brigitte Nelson filed an amended complaint in January in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they failed to disclose all information required by the Truth In Lending Act (TILA) to the plaintiff when she obtained a mortgage.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was damaged from not having all credit terms disclosed to her. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to disclose all credit terms to the plaintiff as required by TILA.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, treble damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Richard H. Kim, Kevin Kotch and Drucilla Tigner of The Kim Law Firm LLC in Philadelphia.
