PHILADELPHIA — Several music publishing companies are suing Justenuff Jack LLC and Steven H. Paik, alleging copyright infringement.

WB Music Corp., Hunterboro Music and others filed a complaint on June 13 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, who operate the Just Enuff Lounge in King of Prussia, alleging that they used plaintiff's musical composition without authorization.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were damaged from having their musical composition used for public performance without a license. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because they allegedly continued to use plaintiff's musical composition for public use despite plaintiff's several attempts to inform them of their duty to acquire a license.

The plaintiffs seek injunction against the defendant, statutory damages not more than $30,000 and not less than $750, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Vincent V. Carissimi and Noah S. Robbins of Pepper Hamilton LLP in Philadelphia.
