PHILADELPHIA — An employee is suing his former employer, Tri-Star Ford Inc., citing alleged unpaid wages and violation of workers compensation acts.
Richard Rose filed a complaint on June 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Tri-Star Ford Inc., alleging that the employer failed to pay proper wages to the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained damages from not being paid his proper wages. The plaintiff holds Tri-Star Ford Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay minimum and overtime wages to the plaintiff.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all minimum wages, unpaid overtime wages, court costs, interest, restitution, back wages, compensatory damages, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Vincent J. Mersich of Stember, Cohn & Davidson-Welling LLC in Pittsburgh.
