Nexus Construction LLC accused of failing to pay monthly contributions

ERIE — A labor union is suing Nexus Construction LLC, an employer, citing alleged breach of contract.

Martin O'Toole and Regis Claus, trustees on behalf of Plumbers Local Union No. 27 Combined Funds, filed a complaint on June 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant failed to remit its employees' contribution.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Plumbers Local Union No. 27 Combined Funds was financially damaged due to late and unpaid contributions. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to make timely payments.

The plaintiff seeks immediate payment of all monies due, an audit, money judgment of $134,986.63, liquidated damages, attorneys fees, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Jeffrey J. Leech and Neil J. Gregorio of Tucker Arensberg P.C. in Pittsburgh.
