ERIE — A union is suing Remaly Manufacturing Co. Inc., alleging that the contractor did not make its required payments to the labor group.
Daniel A. Bosh, Chairman on behalf of the Steelworkers Pension Trust, filed a complaint on June 21 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Remaly Manufacturing alleging that the employer failed to remit its employees' monthly contributions.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the union was damaged due to the outstanding payments. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible because it allegedly breached its bargaining agreement with the plaintiff when it failed to pay its employees' contributions.
The plaintiff seeks for an audit of the defendant, money judgment in the sum of $64,531.50, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Neil J. Gregorio of Tucker Arensberg P.C. in Pittsburgh.
