Gasper's Superior Flooring alleged to owe contributions to Carpenters funds

PHILADELPHIA – A New Jersey company is alleged to have failed to pay contributions to labor union funds.

Carpenters Health and Welfare Fund of Philadelphia and Vicinity, et al. filed a complaint on July 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Gasper's Superior Flooring alleging violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they have been financially damaged due to unpaid contributions. 

The plaintiffs holds Gasper's Superior Flooring responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to make monthly payments to the ERISA funds and failed to product all books and records on request.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant for contributions found to be due and owing, liquidated damages, unpaid contributions, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Daniel Keenan of Jennings Keenan in Philadelphia.
