PITTSBURGH – A McKees Rocks woman has filed a lawsuit against a physician and Pittsburgh health care facility over allegedly fatal misdiagnosis of ischemia.

Gabrielle M. Bonesso, as executrix of the estate of Starla Bonesso, filed a complaint in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Satish C. Muluk, M.D., and Allegheny Clinic alleging medical negligence.

According to the complaint, Starla Bonesso was treated for a variety of medical conditions from January 2015 until her death on Nov. 7, 2015. The plaintiff holds Muluk and Allegheny Clinic responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to diagnose Starla Bonesso's ischemia and provide the necessary treatment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by Rolf Louis Patberg of Patberg, Carmody & Ging Deutschtown Center in Pittsburgh.
