Hunter Keystone Peterbilt alleges it is owed more than $100,000 on lease agreement

ERIE – A Butler business alleges a New York corporation failed to pay outstanding amounts for a lease for commercial vehicles.

Hunter Keystone Peterbilt LP filed a complaint on Aug. 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Trailer Movers Inc. alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff leased commercial vehicles to the defendant in July 2015 and April 2016. 

The plaintiff holds Trailer Movers Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the outstanding amounts.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $103,198.21, court costs, interest and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Vaughn K. Schultz and Christopher D. Stofko of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote PC in Pittsburgh.
