ERIE – A Canonsburg veterinary office is alleged to have terminated a contract with a California company before the terms were up.
Antech Diagnostics Inc. filed a complaint on Aug. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against All About Pets Veterinary Hospital LLC, and Michelle Sacksteder, DVM, doing business as All About Pets Veterinary Hospital and Washington Vet Services, alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it entered into a contract with the defendants in April 2016 for the defendants to use the plaintiff as its exclusive provider or diagnostic and clinical lab services.
The plaintiff holds All About Pets Veterinary Hospital LLC and Sackstede responsible because the defendants allegedly terminated their contractual agreement with the plaintiff before the end of the term.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $277,110.48 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Ricky M. Guerra of Lavin, O'Neil, Cedrone & Disipio in Philadelphia.
