PHILADELPHIA - A Chalfont man and a Coatesville man allegedly failed to pay a debt owed to a Georgia corporation.
Shaw Industries Inc. filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania July 14 against Alfred H. Jones Jr. and Alan Chmielewski, alleging failure to pay.
According to the complaint, the defendants had an interest in Commercial Flooring Systems of Pennsylvania and in February 2015, executed a personal guaranty for the debts of that company. The plaintiff alleges the company is indebted to it for $194,775.50 and that the defendants have failed to make a payment.
The plaintiff seeks judgment in the amount of $194,775.50 plus interest of 6 percent and court costs. It is represented by James W. Adelman of Morris & Adelman PC in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
