Law money 12

PHILADELPHIA – A Richboro man alleges his former Warminster employer failed to pay him overtime wages.

Jim Fries filed a complaint on Sept. 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against B & R Moll Inc. alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act and the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was formerly employed by the defendant as a senior technician/trade show manager. He alleges he was misclassified as exempt from receiving overtime pay.

The plaintiff holds B & R Moll Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime wages to the plaintiff at the rate of one-and-one-half times the regular rate for hours worked that exceeded 40 per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks back pay, unpaid wages, overtime pay, liquidated damages, court costs, interest, and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Michael Murphy of Murphy Law Group LLC in Philadelphia.
