PITTSBURGH – A Greensburg company alleges a Connecticut company owes it commissions from four furniture sales events.

Webb-Benjamin LLC filed a complaint on Sept. 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against International Rug Group LLC, doing business as International Retail Group, alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges in 2015 and 2016, it assisted the defendant with furniture sales events on the condition it would earn commission from sales.

The plaintiff holds International Rug Group LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly breached their contractual agreement with the plaintiff when they failed to pay the commission.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for commissions due to the plaintiff plus interest and court costs. It is represented by James S. Lederach of James S. Lederach in Scottdale.
