EASTON – An Allentown company alleges it was not paid for work it performed on two construction projects.

BeStucco Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against MB Land Co. LLC, doing business as MLC Construction; and Veritas Real Estate Inc., doing business as Veritas Realty alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was retained by MLC as a subcontractor for two construction projects in November 2016 - one in Iowa and one in Illinois. The suit states Veritas owned the projects. It alleges it is owed $85,900 for the work on both projects.

The plaintiff holds MB Land Co. LLC, doing business as MLC Construction; and Veritas Real Estate Inc., doing business as Veritas Realty responsible because Veritas allegedly failed and refused to pay the plaintiff for its work despite several demands.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of more than $75,000 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Frederick J. Stellato of Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus PC in Allentown.
