PHILADELPHIA — An insurance company is suing a Virginia company, citing alleged breach of contract.
Allied World Insurance Co. filed a complaint Oct. 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Perdomo Industrial LLC and Orlando Perdomo Jr., alleging they failed and refused to perform their obligation based on their agreement with the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Allied World Insurance sustained financial losses as the result of liabilities, losses, costs, damages, attorneys' fees and expenses of claims in connection with a project. The plaintiff holds Perdomo Industrial and Perdomo responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their agreement with the plaintiff by failing and refusing to indemnify it based on an indemnity agreement.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for all demands, court costs, interest, damages and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Paul T. Devlieger of Devlieger Hilser PC in Philadelphia.
