Public Health Management Corp., Turning Points for Children alleged to owe overtime pay

Law money 02

PHILADELPHIA – Two Philadelphia residents allege that their employers failed to pay them overtime wages.

Marvella Morris and Noel Cord filed a complaint on behalf of themselves and others similarly situated on Oct. 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Public Health Management Corp. and Turning Points for Children citing the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for more than 40 hours per week but were not paid any overtime wages. The plaintiffs hold Public Health Management Corp. and Turning Points for Children responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay overtime compensation to the plaintiffs at the overtime rate of one-and-one-half times their regular rate of pay.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek unpaid overtime wages plus interest, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Peter Winebrake, R. Andrew Santillo and Mark J. Gottesfeld of Winebrake & Santillo LLC in Dresher.
