PHILADELPHIA – A Norristown woman alleges she is owed unpaid overtime wages from her former Harleysville employer.

Deborah Clark filed a complaint on Oct. 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Veritas Medical Solutions LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between October 2014 and September 2017, she worked as an administrative assistant for the defendant for more than 40 hours per week but was not paid any overtime wages.

The plaintiff holds Veritas Medical Solutions LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly paid the plaintiff a fixed rate of $720 per week regardless of the total number of hours worked, including overtime pay.

The plaintiff seeks unpaid wages, unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Peter Winebrake, R. Andrew Santillo and Mark J. Santillo of Winebrake & Santillo LLC in Dresher.
