Pittsburgh man alleges Florida individual has items stolen from his house

PITTSBURGH – A Pittsburgh man alleges a Florida individual received items stolen from his house.

William Stephen Schober filed a complaint on Nov. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Leo Bernard Schober alleging that the Florida resident received furniture and other stolen things from plaintiff's house.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Leo Bernard Schober received plaintiff's stolen furniture and possessions from a third party from his house while he was working overseas. The plaintiff alleges that because of this, the city of Pittsburgh believed his house was abandoned and tore it down.

The plaintiff seeks monetary damages in the amount of $76,000 for furniture, clothes and other items and other damages. He is representing himself.
