READING – A Reading corporation and Virginia corporation are alleged to have infringed a Wisconsin company's patented cardboard shelving designs.
Menasha Corp. filed a complaint on Dec. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Interstate Container Reading LLC and Interstate Resources Inc. alleging patent infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff owns patent '370, titled Corrugated Shelving Display System with Two-Piece Shelves, and the '633 patent, which relates to a corrugated paperboard container.
The plaintiff holds Interstate Container Reading LLC and Interstate Resources Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly made and sold corrugated paperboard displays that violate at least one claim of plaintiff's patents.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendant from further infringing plaintiff's patent, damages, interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants.
