PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia man alleges an Alabama keeps calling him despite his requests to stop.
Ronald McRae filed a complaint on Dec. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Amsher Collection Services Inc. alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he received several unwanted calls on his cellular telephone on several occasions over the last four years from the defendant. The plaintiff alleges he does not have any business relationship with the defendant.
The plaintiff holds Amsher Collection Services Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly kept on calling the plaintiff using an automatic telephone dialing system despite his requests to stop calling him.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for statutory damages, punitive damages, actual damages, treble damages, enjoin the defendant and any further relief this court grants.
